Diaper cakes, onesies, and cake balls, oh my!

I was asked to help with my cousin's baby shower which was a green and pink theme. I had so much fun making the cupcakes and cake balls. I really wanted to find a great icing recipe and I finally found one that I'm sticking with. The best tasting icing I've ever had, I found on www.thekitchenmagpie.com. She uses coffee creamer instead of milk...it's so yummy!

Of course, Jillian had more fun taste testing!

I started searching Pinterest for banner ideas and finally came up with my final design. I bought the paper at Michael's and the font is "Truckle" which I downloaded from www.dafont.com. I wanted the diaper cake to be simple, so I bought the ribbon 50% off at Hobby Lobby, the letters at Michael's, and the baby elephant topper at WalMart.

I really loved the idea of guests decorating onesies so I bought some in various sizes and sleeve length. I bought plenty of fabric paint and provided the guests with a sign for creative ideas.

I decorated two onesies with flowers and necklaces:

I asked my older sister, who works at Bath and Body Works, to put together the prizes...everything was pink and green, she did an amazing job.

I created games that I found on www.babyshower101.com.
